Can it possibly be August already? How time flies! I’m still plugging away at quilting some pinned quilts and am down to the final three. I think they’re all going to be quilted with embroidery thread. I just love the little shine it has!
I’ve also completed a quilt for The Quilter magazine and sent it on it’s merry little way this past Monday. I have added 4 new quilt patterns to the site ( 1 throw, 2 bed, and 1 wall quilt).
For those of you that don’t know, I have a Janome 6600P sewing machine. Last week I got a couple new parts for it, and they are fantastic! I got the bobbin case and foot for free motion quilting. OH the difference they make! It’s unbelievable. No more mucking about with the upper tension on the machine, no more eyelashing or dots on the back of the quilt, and no more glare from the plastic FMQ foot that came with the machine…all in all a real plus all the way around. Every time I get a new part for my machine, I fall in love all over again.
Guess I’m going to go play with my toys some more. See you all next week when the next part of the BOM comes out!
